In confusion

“It is while trying to get everything straight in my head that I get confused.”
– Mary Virginia Micka

When I become confused, when my spirit fights with what to make, I learned how to give up my processes of thought completely. The best solution, I discovered, of the lies by asking for my heart the direction. This requires that I stop my mental chattering, while resting in silence or by doing something completely different. In peace, motionless space, I often know what is necessary, with a clearness which I never obtain to work of my spirit.

And I now know, undoubtedly, that when I am confused is not never the hour to act. I must await clearness.

“I have never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.”
– Daniel Boone
